  • Do you teach a specific denominational belief in your Bible class?
We teach the Bible in its entirety. • What is a University Model School?
A University-Model School is a unique educational model in which two proven elements of educational success are combined. The classroom instruction of a teacher and the home mentoring of a parent are combined into a single, unified, college simulated program. Students are taught in the classroom by qualified teachers for two or three days per week while parents remain central in the character formation and education of their child by working with them at home. • What curriculum do you use?
All subjects will be approached from a biblical perspective. RCS uses A Beka

  • What are the qualifications of your teachers?
All core courses are taught by certified teachers or qualified individuals who are passionate about your child's education. All teachers at RCS are Christians and have signed the school's statement of faith. The Bible is to be their guide and there is no greater lesson taught than that of salvation. Teachers are encouraged to lead any student to Christ if a student so desires and is open. This process will be carried out with great care. Teachers have been chosen for their skills in being sensitive, flexible and creative communicators, and they have committed to teach and model a Biblical world view.

  • I still cannot decide whether or not a Christian Education is for me, are there other resources that will help me make up my mind?
You should be able to search the world wide web for the growing number of articles comparing Christian and Public or Government Education and we would encourage you to do your own research. To help you get started we have selected the following articles: Top Five Reasons Not to Send Your Kids Back to Government School and Southern Baptist Convention Top Exec Boosts Anti-Public School Agenda. As you read keep two things in mind; the article regarding the SBC Top Exec supports the mindset of Christian Education, however, it is painfully obvious that the executive director of the EthicsDaily.com does not. Which brings me to the second thing you must keep in mind as you read; the line is being drawn in the sand. On one side Christian Education on the other side Public Education; don't let your child(ren) get caught in the middle.
