Ridgewood Christian School has taken the most positive aspects from traditional public schools, as well as home schools, to give students a highly successful, college preparatory experience. Beginning in the seventh grade students are introduced to a university style schedule. Students attend one hour classes every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and one and one-half hour classes on Tuesday, Thursday; just like a college student but with the close supervision from our highly qualified educational staff plus the continued guidance and mentoring from home. There is no better way to prepare for "the real world."

Ridgewood Christian School is a Certified University-Model School. The National Association of University-Model Schools (NAUMS) exists to love and glorify God, help fulfill the Great Commission, affirm, encourage and equip parents, educate students with excellence, integrate home and school learning experiences and reach out to other communities by overseeing the academic education and related family ministries of every University-Model School (UMS), and by encouraging the implementation and development of other UMS wherever parents and educators demonstrate interest in providing such a ministry in their own communities.  NAUMS, Inc. intends to share the vision, values, systems and structure of the UMS with Christian families around the world.
